Our friend Linda grew up in NC. Her sister practiced witchcraft and had a strong "seer" gift considering herself to be a high level witch. Linda has been trying to win her sister to Christ for some 30 years with little results. The sister began to have trouble in her marriage etc. a few years ago, with the cresendo ending with an impending divorce. In the midst of this, the sister was up for a vacation and opted for a California visit to Linda's home in Martinez for some R & R to catch up as she had not seen Linda for several years.
Linda carefully and prayerfully ministered to her sisters every need and pampered her in her broken condition. With great caution she was able to coax her sister, also an intellectual to go to the capital meeting on 7/7/07 telling her that the American Indians were going to play drums and dance. After she sat and heard the gospel with the repentance of the senator for the sins of the nation towards the Indians - the sister was smitten to the heart.
On the way home from the meeting the visiting sister gave her heart to Jesus renouncing witchcraft. The follow up report is that the sister can't get enough of the gospel and has told her husband, suffering with severe depression and bipolar, that he can no longer stay in the relationship unless he gives up his life to our Christ. She is now warring for his salvation as he went to church with her a few times now.

Capitol Intercessors impact the CapitolWhat a grand time the area's prayer warrior's had at the California State Capitol on 7/7/7. Since the ministries that banded together to put on this event overlap with our Thursday morning prayer group (my wife even had a chance to sing), I thought I would give a loud "Well Done" to the participants. Not only was the concept of 120 shofar's being blown at the Capitol God inspired, but the entire event was clothed in the Holy Spirit.

Last Saturday was an awesome event on the south lawn of the Capitol when 134 shofar blowers met in an upper room of Westminster Church to receive instructions, pray and take communion. There are too many names to mention of those who were responsible for orchestrating this event, so in order not to slight anyone I'll just say a BIG THANK YOU AND BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY to each and every one of you. Heaven knows who you are!At 11:45 the 7 shofar teams dispersed around the Capitol spaced approximately 20 feet apart. My team was positioned at the very front of the Capitol where wedding photos were being taken of several groups lining up on the Capitol steps. How apros-pros the sounding of our trumpets over them!Team leaders used synchronized stop watches to signal shofars to simultaneously blow 7 blasts exactly at high noon toward the Capitol. Five minutes later we turned about face and blew another 7 blasts over the state of California. What an awesome sound!Armed with my shofar in one hand and my camera around my neck, I was able to snap 228 shots of the entire event. However, the one shot I failed to capture was when a Jewish rabbi blew 2 shofars at the same time symbolizing the double blessing.Prayers assailed heaven for our legislators and civic leaders to serve with justice and righteousness and of course for marriages, families and biblical values. There was even representation from the Senate which was most appreciated. On this momentous day in history we were ONE PEOPLE UNITED in prayer, repentance and praise to the MOST HIGH GOD. No race, denomination or sects divided us that day. Onlookers freely drifted in to observe and even participate. There were no walls but instead there was complete freedom inviting an open-air revival on the Capitol lawn. Isn't this the way church should look everyday as it did in Jesus' day?One of the most moving parts of the afternoon for me was the Native American drum circle, singing, dancing, and reconciliation. We (non-native Americans) were represented as a group repenting for taking away and defiling the Indian's land. In turn, they blessed us and the earth followed by drumming to the most beautiful Indian song honoring Jesus. The singing and dancing was indescribable and moved many to tears. This was a long-awaited moment and without a doubt it brought great joy to heaven. Afterwards everyone joined hands in a huge circle of dancers as flaggers moved gracefully around and among the people. It was with reluctance that we dispersed at 3:00 when the chairs were being picked up by the provider. But as I drove back home to my mountain retreat I thought, "No, it can't end like this, a one day event. This is just the appetizer. We want MORE, Lord! We want more of YOU!"Sound the trumpet and prepare ye the way of the Lord!

yesterday at the Sacramento State Capital was an awesome day filled with God's Love and Glory as well. As everyone probably knows The Call was going on in Nashville, while at the same time all across America believers heeded the same call to God. I know that we all had awesome experiences yesterday and if we only knew the full impact that that had in the spiritual realm. Well...let me just say that we have set God's hand in motion and things will never be the same anymore...My experience yesterday at the Capital was just as amazing as well. Me and about 200 some other followers gathered on the south side lawn of the capital where we prayed and worshipped the mighty heart of God for hours. It was absolutely awesome to see the raw and pure presence of God fall in an open public place and leak right out into the streets that long for Him. 120 shofars were blown all at once for a good stretch of at least five minutes...The Spirit was so strong and so evident throughout the whole time we were there. Flagging, dancing, singing, praising, thanking, everything all at once for hours. We declared and proclaimed and I know without a shadow of a doubt that we made a mark in the Earth yesterday; not only for California but ! for generations to come...We have entered into God's Glory blessed people of the Lord. Only when we are safely tucked into His arms for all of eternity will we be able to look back and truly know what these days really meant. These are our the Glory Days. Trust me when I say, it has begun. Never before have I spent so much time being completely speechless at the mighty plans and power of my God. Remember, our hearts have no clue what He has prepared for us. So keep your eyes open, your heads turned up, and keep thanks on your lips because we ride out soon...
